A quick word about cleaning products
I’m very much a green cleaning disciple.
I can’t bear the thought of using harsh chemicals around the house.
So I’ve included details in the checklists of the environmentally friendly cleaning products that I use for cleaning.
Method cleaning products
My go-to planet-friendly products of choice are by Method, a brilliant UK brand that gets the right balance of being eco-friendly and actually getting rid of dirt.
Bamboo cleaning towels
I’ve recently stopped using microfibre cloths as microfibre, because microfibre sheds harmful fibres into the water when washed.
I have started using ecoegg reusable bamboo cleaning towels instead.
The towels are made from 100% bamboo and they are an amazing zero waste product as they replace kitchen roll.
Bamboo is one of the strongest and most absorbent natural fibres, which makes the towels strong and super absorbent.
I use them for all the jobs I would previously have used kitchen roll and cleaning cloths for.
The towels can be washed at 40 degrees and a single towel can be used up to 85 times.
You can buy the towels over on Amazon
Homemade natural cleaning products
I also mention ways you can use homemade natural products
All of the homemade cleaning product recipes are simple to make.

Good list. The one thing I need to do this spring for sure–wash the drapes. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve done that since I moved into this house…several years ago! I’d love to have you link this to Titus 2 Tuesday this week on Cornerstone Confessions.. I hope to see you there.

Great list. It’s difficult to find the time, but I find that doing just a little bit makes a difference. I’ve just wiped the dust off our house plants, and it’s really lifted my mood! And the sun’s shining too….
This is fantastic! Thank you SO much! 🙂
