I’ve rounded up five videos that show how to make really easy, but beautiful, Christmas wreaths. These videos are great for those of us who aren’t big into craft, don’t have much time or have never made a wreath before.
Christmas wreath video tutorials for novice crafters
Shock news flash: I have never had a Christmas wreath on my front door.
But that’s all about to change.
This is the first year that I’ve ever wanted to hang a wreath on the door.
What’s more, I want to make it myself.
I think it has something to do with having left London for a beautiful market town a few months ago.
It feels like the thing to do!
Two problems:
- I am FAR from being a craft genius
- I don’t have much spare time for crafting.
Luckily, after some serious research I’ve found a bunch of brilliant Christmas wreath craft tutorials.
Wreaths that look gorgeous, but are simple to make.
I’ve listed the tutorials below.
I’ve kept the list concise to avoid overwhelm!
So if you feel like turning your busy hands to crafting your own wreath for the first time, or if you’re a seasoned wreath maker looking for new inspiration, have a peak and see what takes your fancy.
Easy to Make Christmas Wreath Video Tutorials
1. Super Simple Christmas Bauble Tutorial
This video tutorial uses Christmas baubles, which are SO cheap to buy. I also love this kind of wreath, as red, green and gold Christmas baubles remind me of the kind of Christmas decorations we had as a family when I was a kid.
2. Glitter Pinecones Tutorial
I love this glitter pinecones wreath. This is the kind of simple project you could get your kiddos involved doing with you as well – if you have the time!!
The things you’ll need to make one of these wreaths include:
- Glitter covered pine cones – which you can buy by the bag , who knew?!
- A wire hanger – the kind the dry-cleaners give you
- A hot glue gun and glue sticks – got one of these for my kiddo, am now hooked!
- Ribbon – enough to make a big bow
- Chain links
3. Burlap Wreath Tutorial
How easy is this. You can make it in ten minutes (well, ok a bit longer if you’re as craft-skill blessed as moi). Plus you’ll just need three things to put one of these babies together:
4. Craft Paper Wreath Tutorial
Now I just LOVE this! It is SO easy. But looks so darn modern and cool. Best of all, you will just need some craft paper and a paper plate… oh and a glue stick.
5. Natural Christmas Wreath Tutorial
In case you fancy something that’s fresh and lovely on your door at Christmas, this tutorial shows that it can actually be quite easy to make a natural wreath. This is the one I am going to be going with this year. Grab your 18″ wreath frame here. Then check the video for everything else you’ll need to gather.
I hope this list of video tutorials really helps you make a Christmas wreath you love.
