21 CLEVER KITCHEN GIFTS FOR MUMS WHO LOVE TO COOK
-
I can't even begin to list all the reasons why I love my Air Fryer. It is simply the best kitchen gadget I've bought in a long time. I use it daily for air frying, baking and roasting. It would be this if I could choose one kitchen gadget to keep above all others. Use it for air frying, roasting, baking, warming, and baking bread. It is amazing!!
-
Simply the best garlic press I have ever used, no horrid garlicky smelling fingers afterwards and such a time-saver.
-
Clongs tongs by Dreamfarm are absolutely genius - as are several of their other kitchen gadgets. I have had a pair for several months and they are just the best tongs ever. The real genius is that the bit that touches the food doesn't touch the kitchen work surface, so you have less to wipe up and don't need to worry about hygeine issues when cooking. These are a brilliant gift idea for mums who love to cook.
-
I love my Chopula so much that I now have two of them. This is another genius invention from the DreamFarm team.... a spatula that has a side that can slice food as you cut it, plus the spatula end doesn't touch the kitchen worksurface, so it's less messy.... and it is so flexible it is really easy to use. Any mum who loves cooking would love this clever, unusual take on kitchen tongs.

I have an ever growing collection of Ninja Foodie pots and pans, this one is an absolute essential that gets used most days of the week for cooking part of a family meal.
-
Marble rolling pins are a must-have tool in every baker's kitchen. They look elegant, and their heavy weight and cool surface make them ideal for rolling pastry and dough evenly and with ease.
-
Whether squeezing lemons for cooking or limes to make margaritas, the ideal citrus squeezer does not make a mess. That is why I love this KitchenAid squeezer. All the juice is contained and has a spout to make pouring easy. I also like that it sits neatly on the kitchen counter rather than tumbling to the side.
-
A brilliant upgrade to a hand mixer is a cordless hand mixer. No more getting annoyed with the cord when you mix up cake batter. The mixer has seven speeds and is rechargeable. It comes in several colours, including red, black and pale green. My favourite is this chic almond cream colour.
-
Avocados may be delicious, but they are slippery little fruit to prepare. This Joseph Joseph is a live-saver when you want to mash up an avo swiftly!! This neat little tool cuts, de-stones and slices. No more wrestling with avocado stones or catapulting them across the kitchen when they finally loosen.
-
These kitchen knives by Joseph Joseph have weighted ergonomic handles and a knife block rest to ensure they stay upright on the kitchen counter. The five knives are made with Japanese stainless steel no less! There is a bread knife, chef's knife, Santoku knife, Serrated knife and paring knife.
-
The brilliant thing about this salad spinner is its pump action, which requires much less effort than the salad spinners you have to wind. This isn't the most exciting kitchen gadget ever, but it is super useful for mums who love to prepare delicious salads.
-
Take it back to the old school by giving a recipe journal as a gift. This is the most beautiful journal - it comes in various colours - that can be used to scribble down recipes or concoct new ones.
-
This little kitchen gadget is genius. Yes, you can buy a food processor with lots of whizzy attachments, but if you want to chop vegetables quickly and easily and not have loads of cleaning up afterwards, this is the gadget to have. I recently bought one, and it makes chopping onions - one of my least favourite chores - a dream.
