Homemade Christmas decorations - 35 lovely homemade Christmas decorations including many children can help with

We always try and make at least one batch of homemade Christmas decorations each year, because there’s something super lovely about creating something that gets used year after year. It’s kind of like creating family heirlooms to treasure Christmas after Christmas!

We’ve built up quite a collection of homemade decorations over the years and I’m always on the look out for inspiration for the next batch.

I’ve done my annual online trawl and put together a list of 35 of the most inspiring – some are more kiddo friendly than others to make, but there’s hopefully something in here for everyone.

Washi tape decorations are always a winner to make with children, so look out for the Washi Tape trees by I Heart Naptime. Meanwhile I’m a massive fan of bookpage Christmas ornaments, so take a peak at the beautiful creations of Crafted Sparrow.

So what are you waiting for? Have a peak and get making!!
